Son Veri

Son Veri is a 19th-century estate set on 100 hectares of rugged land above the village of Valldemossa, in one of the most dramatic positions in the Tramuntana mountains. The property was once a working farm cultivating cereals, olives and almonds, with records dating back to the Middle Ages. It has been sensitively restored using traditional techniques, with marés sandstone, lime mortar and reclaimed stone throughout, creating a house that feels deeply rooted in its landscape. Interiors are soft and unhurried, with ochres, grey-greens and natural lime finishes, bespoke and reclaimed wood furniture and a quality of light that changes through the day.

Six suites are arranged across two floors, each over 50 square metres, with the two ground-floor master suites opening onto the gardens and a semi-private garden with sea views. The infinity pool looks out across valleys that fall away towards the Bay of Palma, with the Tramuntana mountains rising behind. Sensory garden paths, ancient holm oaks, scented planting and a private spring and rainwater collection system give the estate a self-contained quality that is rare even by Mallorcan standards.
